Card Of The Week

Oh i am so pleased, i had a lovely suprise this morning, I WON CARD OF THE WEEK on ANN'S PAPER ART FORUM, with the card below, i used three different patterns from APA and put them together to make a picture, the card was made for my Great Niece who was 3yrs old last week, my Niece likes to save my cards, and then she makes a collage out of them and frames then to hang on the wall in her daughters bedroom, i did have to adjust the size of two of the patterns to make them fit, i wasn't too sure if it would work, i was really pleased when it did and to Win the card of the week with it has made my day. A big Thankyou to Ann, for all the wonderful patterns that you design for all us Anndotdictionists.

Birthday Card

This is a card for my great Niece's Birthday on Thursday, the tree pattern is Ann's pattern and i decided to combine it with Ann's pattern no's a2018 and a286, i had to make the two pattern' s smaller and flip them over so that they were facing the way i wanted them to, i then coloured them in and added some googly eyes to the worm.

Christmas Card

And now for something a little different from me, i have discovered the new craft of Hobby Dots, this pattern is from the new Christmas Hobby Dots Book 1, the decoupage is also inside the book,  it's mounted onto green foiled paper and then onto a red pearlescent card, i've added some peel-off stars and a christmas message, i like this pattern a lot and am sure i will use it again and again.

Birthday Card

I have to admit, i really loved stitching this pattern from Ann's new book, Card Embroidery with Ann's Paper Art Alphabet 1, it is mounted onto blue mirri card and then onto white linen card, i  used the Martha Stewart Flower punches to add the flowers to the corners and also a few blue gems to finish.

Christmas Card

This is another card that i have made using the new book, Card Embroidery with Ann's Paper Art, Christmas 2, once again i have used the decoupage from the book and stitched it in a blue, red and green threads, i have added a few Star corner peel-offs to the corners and a few little stars around the image, it is mounted onto blue mirri card and then onto white linen card.

Christmas Card

This pattern is from Ann's new stitching book, Card Embroidery with Ann's paper Art, Christmas 2, this is a fun pattern that can be used in many ways, i stitched it with a multi coloured christmas thread and added the decoupage from the book, i then mounted it onto gold mirri card and onto red pearlescent card, i have also added a few peel off gems and the happy christmas message to finish.
