Royal Marines

This was a difficult card to make for me, my neighbour asked me to make a card for her Grandson who was going into the Royal Marines, I really had no idea as to what to do, so I bought this pattern from Ann's paper art just for the occasion, it is patter No a0305.

My Great Niece's birthday 4th Card

I made this card for my Great Niece's 4th birthday,I chose Anns Paper Art pattern No a0702 because when I visited her a few months ago I gave both her and her sister a teddy bear, I have stitched the pattern in a bright pink and green and then used a Memory Box buckle die, and a few gems to finish.

I chose to stitch this pattern in pastel colours, and i really am pleased that i did, the Tatty teddy fits just perfect in the centre, and the blues work really well with it, The pattern is APA No, a628, i really do like this pattern, it's easy to stitch and looks so lovely when finished, I decided to give this to my Sister for her Birthday.

Ann's Birthday Card.

I made this card for Ann from Ann's paper art, I used a fibre paper to back this card with, I really do like the result and will use it again, it was a pleasure making this special card.  I was very happy to be able to give it to Ann myself, I can't thank Ann enough for coming to England and meeting the girls from my craft group.

Contest Card

I made this card for the Contest on Ann's paper art forum, the pattern is a free pattern for the  members.

New Cards

Here are some cards I have made for a punishment game we are playing on Ann's paper art forum, if we use certain words during the month we have to make a card, I used the words 11 times so have got to make 11 cards, I still have a few more cards to make, they are all stitched with Anns paper art patterns.

I was asked to make this  special 70th Birthday Card for a friend of my sister, for her Mum's birthday, next month. I have used the background pattern from the book, Eindeloos borduren op papier en 3D, by Joke de Vette, the pattern on the sides of the design are from the book Buitengewoon borderen op papier en 3d also by Joke de Vette, I have added the Angel decoupage and also added a little glitter to it, I then added a few small gems and the peel offs to finish, it is stitched onto white linen card, mouted onto gold mirri card and then onto cream cardstock, this is the largest card I have made so far being bigger than an A5 card.

Forever friends

I really enjoyed stitching this pattern from  Ann's Paper art, the pattern No is a2049 and is from the Hobbyjournaal  75. I thought the little Forever Friends bear looks so cute for this pattern.

With Love

The pattern for this card is from the Hobbyjournaal  76, the pattern No is a2050 and has the Hobbydots used on it, I am not a lover of the hobbydots, but they do look really lovely on a card and work extremely well with the pattern, I have added some punched out butterflies and decided to add a border with the hobbydots lines, the image is from an 8x8  Fizzy Moon decoupage pad called Celebrations.

Cupcake Card

The pattern that I have used for this card is from Ann's Stitching Sheet book 23, the pattern No is a0946.

Xmas Cards

We are playing a game on Ann's paper art Forum, if we say certain Banned  words we have to take a punishment, unfortunately for me, I did say the Banned word so my punishment was to make two xmas cards by today and upload them onto Ann's Forum using pattern No a 522, these are the two cards I made.

Diamond Anniversary Card

I was stuck for a card to make for a neighbours brother, so I asked Ann from Ann's Paper art if she could help, so she very kindly designed this pattern for me, the pattern No is a 627, I can't thank Ann enough for doing this for me, it's a beautiful pattern.

LOVE IS

Well what can i say, it's been a while since i made a card, but we have been very busy with redecorating our lounge, we still have a few finishing touches to make, and my craft cupboard needs to be finished, then i can get back to what i love, my stitching. At the moment most of my craft things are still in boxes, so I'm trying to work with what i have at hand, so when i ordered my HJ 75 this is the first pattern i chose to stitch, it is Ann's pattern and i love it, this is going to be stitched quite a lot, it looks good enough to eat and as a cupcake lover it was the perfect pattern for me. I have used my 6x6 Dovecraft cupcake papers as the backing, then i die cut the stitched pattern and inked around the edges and added some gold hobbydots to the strawberry, then added some card candy in the chocolate and marshmallow colours to the corners.

Black and Gold

I have to admit, this is a beautiful pattern again by Ann's paper art, the pattern No is a2045, I really loved making this card, I used a Marriane design die for the centre image and added a few gems for the necklace, the stitching is done with a beautiful black and gold thread that I bought at Olympia Stitch and Craft Show, I think the Hobbydots really set the pattern Off well, I also added some gems to the corners of the card, then mounted it onto gold glitter paper and then black pearlescent card.

ROSE

I love the rose pattern that Ann has created, it is APA pattern NO a726, I stitched onto K & Co paper, using a cream thread and a green for the stem and leaves, I really wished i had stuck to the cream thread for the whole pattern, I think it would have looked a lot better, but i still like the card i have made, I mounted it onto cream glitter paper and then onto pale pink card, this is a pattern that i know i will use a lot..

Two New Cards

This is a first for me, I actually went to my craft group today and managed to put 2 cards together, I have never managed to put one together while there. I'm really pleased with both of them, the first one is for my husbands Mum for mothers day, the pattern is from Ann's paper Art stitching sheets book 22, I used the Martha Stewart punch around the page punches,  backed it with gold glitter paper, and  mounted it onto white card. The second card is a birthday card,  the pattern is from Ann's paper Art Stitching Sheets book 21, again i have used the M S punch around the page punches and backed it with Blue glitter paper, and then mounted it onto white card, I really have enjoyed making these two.
