I have had so much fun making this card, I stitched onto yellow whitewash color core card stock, I embossed one side and went over it with an emery board, then i die cut the shapes and punched out some yellow butterflies, I added a yellow ribbon, to finish, the pattern is from Ann's paper art, it is pattern NO a721.
Stitch-a-greeting is all about the beautiful art of embroidery on card, cross stitch and blackwork.

Birthday Card
I fell in love with this pattern as soon as I saw it and just had to stitch it straight away, it is from the Hobbydol 63 book, I used some blue and gold glitter threads and then decided to punch the corners with a Punch around the page punch by Martha Stewart, I also added some tiny blue gems to the design, mounted it onto blue glitter paper and then onto white card.

Uncle's Birthday Card
I found it a little difficult trying to choose a pattern for my Uncle's birthday Card, I usually make a card with golf on it, but decided i wanted to do something different for a change, so i chose this pattern from the book New Designs, New Projects for Embroidery on Paper by Erica Fortgens, I really like the end result, I hope he likes it too.

GIFT BOXES
I decided to do something a little bit different, and made some boxes, the first box, the pattern is from the book Uren Borduren, by Erica Fortgens, i have shrunk the pattern down to fit, it has got black rice beads and silver silver seed beads, I have added a flower bead in the centre with a small black bead, then added a white ribbon to finish the box, it was trial and error in making this box, but i'm very pleased with the result.
The second box i've made, the pattern is from the book Embroidery on Paper, Alphabet & Festive Motifs, again i've shrunk the pattern down to fit, and added green rice beads, pinl hearts and a small flower in the centre, and then finished with a white ribbon, I found making these boxes quite a challenge as i have never done these before and they are my own designs, i'm now looking forward to making more.

Sympathy Card
This card was made for a friend who recently lost her dear Mum, I used the Cross pattern from HJ Yearbook 2010/2011 and the lily pattern is from Easy Embroidery on Paper by Joke De Vette, I have mounted it onto black mirri card and added some silver and black ribbon and a few silver stones.
Fairy Card
I felt like doing something a little different to what i normally do, so with this card, i have used my nestabilitiies dies and put the fairy on to the cut out shapes, i decided to stitch this beautiful pattern from Ann's paper art in a bright pink and green thread, I have added some pink pearls and some ribbon to finish.
Country Companions card
I love the little Country Companions decoupage, it fits really well with this pattern which is from Ann's paper art, again i have used the new sparkly multicoloured threads.
