New Patterns

 New Pattern from Ann's paper Art, Pattern No a743 available for Pre-order Now from Ann's Webshop, the first card I have stitched in Gutermann threads and used my new Amy Design Die Christmas Card Set, the number for the Die is ADD10066. The second card I have stitched with glitter threads, the corners die cuts are from theYvonne Creations Holly Jolly Die set No YCD10068.

90th Birthday Cards

A neighbour asked me to make two 90 year old birthday cards which I only finished yesterday morning, for the top one I have stitched Karin's Creations Pattern No KC118, the threads are Gutermann No's, 1081, 667, 1128, 1170, 630, 1128, 1297 and 568, I have embossed the card using my Die'sire Embossalicious Regency Swirls Embossing Folder and also used my Sue Wilson Frames and Tags-Pierced Flags Die No CED4304, a few large pearls and a ribbon finished this card.

The Second card I have stitched Karin's Creations Pattern No KC178, I have used  a Tattered Lace Ditsy Dots Embossing folder on the background, and also Marianne Design Tiny Butterflies Die No CR1354 and a larger Butterfly Die from  Cheery Lyn Mini Dimensional Butterflies with Angel wings No D138, The threads used are Gutermann 630, 1177, 1055, 1193, 1031, 1108 and 1256.

Birthday Cards

This one was made for my neighbours mum, she asked me to make a card that had flowers and a cat on it, so for this one I have stitched Karin's Creations Pattern No KC 187 and combined it with Ann's Paper Art Pattern No a041 and the word Mum from APA pattern No a686, the threads I have used are Gutermann 1190, 1297, 1238 and Mettler 5833.

Birthday Card

This card didn't scan very well, but for this one I have stitched a pattern from Hobbyjournaal No 63 by Ria Kuipers.

Christmas card

This is a wonderful NEW Stitching Sheet by Ann's Paper Art, the sheet number is SS10015, For the first card I have used glitter threads and combined it with Marianne Design Craftables Die No CR1379, the second card is the stitching sheet decoupage, I have again used glitter threads in this card.

I have stitched APA Pattern No a119 and combined it with Yvonne Creations Christmas Treee Die NoYCD10002 and Nellie Snellen Die No SD035The threads I used are Gutermann 1051, 567 asnd 1039.

I really enjoyed making this Christmas Card with APA Pattern a120, as you can see I really do like this pattern, it's so versatile and makes a lovely Christmas card.

Birthday Card

This card was made for my dear friend Frances, I have stitched Karin's Creations Pattern No KC175,  The threads I used for this card are Gutermann 1128,1170,1104,1238,1193 and also a Mettler thread No 5833, I decided to combine the pattern with  Sue Wilson's Petite Striplet-Jubilee Die No CED1619 and also Marianne Design Tiny Butterflies Die No CR1354, I have added glitter to the background of the Striplet Die.

It's been a while since I uploaded anything here so thought it was time to update and show you all what I have been doing.

This is a friendship card I made for Sharon back in August, I have stitched APA Pattern No a698, the image is from Nellie's Vintage Decoupage Sheet No, NEV1 002-Beach.

Birthday Card

For my dear friends birthday I chose to stitch Karin's Creations Pattern No KC 176, I put a lot of thought and love into making this card for such a special friend, I knew that she likes these colours so chose the deep red and orange, the threads are Gutermann Sulky Rayon 40, No's 1263 Deep red, 567 Gold, 630 Green and 568 Deep orange, I have also used my Marianne Design Creatables Border Stencil No LRO396 and my Marianne Design Craftables Butterfly Stencil No CR1354, I added a few red pearls and some hobbydots then the happy birthday peel off  to finish this card. My only regret was I had to post it so didn't get to see her face when she opened it, but I do know that she loves it.

Father Of The Bride

My Aunt was looking for a card to give to her son for his daughters wedding, but nowhere in the shops did they have a Father Of The Bride card, so I made this card for her. I have stitched Ann's Paper Art Pattern No a721, I chose Black and Gold as the theme.

Birthday Card

I made this Birthday Card for Sharon, I have stitched Ann's Paper Art Pattern No a2078 from Hobbyjournaal Magazine No 124, I have combined it with Ann's Paper Art Spring Roses 3D Decoupage Sheet No APA3D010.

ROSE CARD

This card was made with Ann's Paper Art Pattern No a600, the decoupage is from Ann's Paper Art 3D Decoupage Sheet Spring Roses No APA3D010, I have also combined it with Marianne Design Die No LRO413.

Get Well Card

I made this card for an elderly neighbour who was knocked down by a car and broke her hip and arm, she has been in hospital and re-hab for eight weeks and has a long recovery ahead of her. I have stitched Ann'a Paper Art pattern No a049 and combined it with Sue Wilsons Creative Expressions Frames & Tags - Delicate Garden Frame Die.

Birthday Card

I made this birthday card for my Uncle, he used to drive trailers although they were flat back ones this pattern seemed to fit the bill nicely, the pattern is from Stitching Cards and I used peel-off letters for his name which I coloured with a black pro marker pen, I have also used Sue Wilson's Mini Striplet Intertwining Circles Die.

This birthday card was made for a friends husband, I have stitched Ann's Paper Art pattern No a628 and found this decoupage in my folder which fitted nicely in the frame.

ONE FOR THE MEN

It's good to have something especially for the men for a change, for this card I have combined it with papers from my stash and some card candy.

I made this friendship card for my dear friend Frances, the pattern is from a Hobbydol book by Chrissie, I can't remember the number of the book, I have combined it with a Marianne Design Creatables Die No LRO396 and also stamped the Message using Crafters Companion Sara Davies Signature Collection Stamps English Country Garden. I enjoyed creating this card.

This birthday card was made for Carol, I have stitched Ann's Paper Art pattern No a063 and combined it with Precious Marieke 3D Sheet Spring Flowers CD10618 these are available from Ann's Webshop. I didn't stitch the whole pattern for this card, I added some lace and some papers from my stash.

This is the card I made for Jackie, I have stitched a Chrissie pattern from Hobbyjournaal 122, the Die I have used is Spellbinders Royal Circle.

Thank You Card

Sometimes it's good to say Thank You to those that look after us, that also includes the medical care people in Hospitals, GP Surgeries and Care Centre's,  they do a difficult job and sometimes under extreme conditions, this card was made for two nurses and a doctor at my GP surgery as a Thank You for the care they gave to my husband just over a week ago, we both wanted to let them know that we really appreciated their help. For this card I stitched a pattern from Karin's Creations pattern No  KC 187.

Bowling

New Pattern No a740

I had a lot of fun creating this card, it's different to what I would normally do, the pattern is new from Ann's paper Art Webshop Pattern No a740, I have stitched with Gutermann Thread No's 1234 black and 1039 red, I used papers from Dovecraft and matted onto red cardstock and then onto black card.

Pattern No a061

I chose to stitch in black and red for this card, I have used Gutermann Thread No's 1039 red and 1234 black, the Dies are Marianne Design LRO139,  and CR1241, I have also used the red dots from the waste when I cut the oval die and also some black pearls, I added a ribbon to the second card, This set  set is available from Ann's Paper Art Webshop

For these two Male cards I have stitched the first one in Gutermann thread No's 1001 white and 1011 grey, I stitched onto black linen cardstock and added white Hobbydots to finish. The second Male card I stitched onto blue linen cardstock and used Gutermann thread No 567 gold, I used the dots from the waste from the oval die to add to the corners and the centre of the pattern, I stitched the pattern a little differently for this one.  The Dies are from Marianne Design No's LRO289 and CR1241 Marianne Design The set is available from Ann's Paper Art Webshop.
